The Right Arm of the Saint IV (聖者の右腕篇IV Seija no Migiude Hen Yon) is the fourth episode of the Strike the Blood anime.

Synopsis[]

Eustach and Astarte continue their assault, finally launching an attack on the central support of the manmade island. When Kojou learns that Asagi is trapped inside, he's eager to save her, but his inability to control his own Familiars holds him in place. Unable to see him go on like this, Yukina makes a suggestion he never expected...

Story[]

Eustach and Astarte continue their advance to the keystone of the island’s magical foundations. Kojou regenerates from his injuries and resolves himself to protect Itogami Island from Eustach, and Yukina offers her blood to him, which results in his gaining mastery over a familiar. They pursue Eustach, who reveals that his mission is to retrieve a holy relic that is integral to the foundation of the island. With newfound control over the 5th Familiar - Leo Pemptos - Regulus-Aurum/The Lion of Gold, Kojou and Yukina defeat the intruders.

  • Yukina Himeragi offers her blood to Kojou Akatsuki to gain control over his first familiar, the 5th Beast Vassal of the Fourth Progenitor, Regulus Aurum.
  • It was revealed that when Itogami Island was designed, Senra Itogami chose the forbidden use of a sacrificial material to resolve the need to shore up the cornerstone’s insufficient strength. Thus, the designers had constructed the island with the relic of the Saint usurped from Lotharingia Cathedral as its foundation.
  • Avrora was briefly shown possessing Nagisa Akatsuki's while Kojou summoned Regulus Aurum.
  • Kojou drank Astarte's blood to put her Beast Vassal under his control in order to extend her lifespan.
  • It was revealed that the true purpose of the Lion King Organization sending Yukina Himeragi to Kojou Akatsuki was for her to become his lover, while Motoki Yaze, Kojou's friend, was his true observer, also sent by the Lion King Organization.
