Strike The Blood Wiki

Mimori Akatsuki (暁 深森(あかつき みもり) Akatsuki Mimori) is the ex-wife of Gajou Akatsuki and the mother of Kojou and Nagisa Akatsuki. She is also a magic physician and the head researcher of MAR's medical department.

Mimori appears rather young age-wise. She has silver-gray ruffled hair and purple eyes, and also wears glasses. She is often working at MAR's facilities and is usually seen wearing a labcoat.

Mimori has a very childish personality who likes to play a lot of childish games and jokes on others as seen with her first interactions with Yukina Himeragi and Sayaka Kirasaka. She seems to eat a lot of snacks and change into multiple sets of clothing every day, but she is too lazy to clean up after herself. However, she can become quite serious when it comes to anything supernaturally or medically involved. When the situation calls for it, she can be serious and acts professionally towards the task at hand. To add to this, she can be seen as a pervert and the reason why Kojou is as perverse as she is.

Mimori is mad at Gajou Akatsuki for always putting their children in harms way. The fairy's coffin incident proved to be the final straw between them and decided to get divorced. Since then, she had been her daughter's personal physician. There is an age difference of 10 years or greater between her and Gajou, she gave birth to Kojou Akatsuki when she was around 16 years old. She also made a contract with Avrora Florestina to keep her daughter safe and keeps the 12th familiar inside Nagisa. After the incident, she preserved Avrora's body at MAR as a part of the "Sleeping Princess" project.

Fiesta for the Observers[]

Mimori is a Hyper-Adapter, a natural psychic. Her special ability is psychometry, the ability to tell everything that's wrong with a person just by touching their skin. However, her abilities are extremely specific. She was extremely sensitive to abnormalities in the body, but she was even less sensitive to spiritual auras than the average person.

  • The name Mimori means "deep" (深) (mi) and "forest" (森) (mori).
  • Mimori's surname Akatsuki means "dawn, daybreak" (暁).
