Sayaka Kirasaka (煌坂 紗矢華(きらさか さやか), Kirasaka Sayaka) is one one the main protagonists and a friend of Yukina Himeragi. Sayaka was ordered by the Lion King Organization to take charge of multinational magical crimes in the Foreign Affairs Division. Being a Shamanic War Dancer, she is often assigned various missions, including observations and VIP protection. She became the second blood partner of Kojou Akatsuki, and developing feelings towards him.

Appearance

Sayaka is a beautiful teenager with turquoise eyes and long brown hair passing her waist. She is normally seen wearing a school uniform-like outfit. In Episode 5, she is seen wearing a dark red Qipao.

Personality

Sayaka has androphobia (a severe fear of men), but it doesn't occur around Kojou Akatsuki or Dimitrie Vatler, implying that her illness doesn't apply to non-humans. She is an impulsive person and will try to protect those who are important to her. She becomes shy around Kojou.

History

Just like Yukina, she was raised and trained by the Lion King Organization in order to become one of their attack mages.

Plot

From the Warlord's Empire

She first appeared along with Vatler at the banquet held by the latter, while showing clear distaste at Kojou's familiarity with Yukina. However, her harsh attitude toward Kojou changed after both of them teamed up together to rescue Yukina and Asagi Aiba from Christoph Gardos' kidnapping, where Kojou's kindness towards her caused her to fall in love with him, although she's still somewhat reluctant to admit it.

The Amphisbaena

Sayaka first appeared in the burned down church confronting Yaze, urging him to tell her about Kojou's and Yukina's whereabouts after their dissapeareance from Itogami Island, while both Asagi and Nagisa Akatsuki went to the said church. When Asagi and Nagisa met her, Asagi freaked out and pointed at Sayaka as she's still highly suspicious of her because of her involvement with Kojou. Later, they ended up working together, albeit reluctantly, to rescue Kojou and Yukina.

Abilities

As a Shamanic War Dancer, Sayaka specializes in hexes and assassinations.

Weapon: She wields the sword/bow Lustrous Scale (Koukarin).
