Strike The Blood Wiki

Strike The Blood Wiki is a fan-made encyclopedia based on the wiki concept, where anyone is allowed to edit and contribute to any article. This wiki uses the MediaWiki software and is hosted by FANDOM. This wiki is dedicated to the Strike the Blood series and all related media.

Strike The Blood Wiki is created collaboratively by mostly anonymous users who write without pay. Anyone with internet access can edit and contribute to our articles. Users can contribute anonymously, under a pseudonym, or (if they choose to) with their real identity.

Our Goal[ | ]

We are one of the most popular sites for information regarding Strike the Blood. As such, we want to turn this wiki into the most reliable source of information for the series. We envision our articles to have a clean and readable format, with citations/references to prove the legibility of the articles. This sounds like a daunting task, but with enough time and work, it is possible.

History[ | ]

The wiki was founded by Riko Ryuichi on September 21, 2013. It is assumed that the wiki was created in preparation of the anime, which premiered on October 4, 2013. Gcheung28 and CrimsonGaze14 offered to help the wiki, and was given administrator rights. Sadly, they didn't stay too long; the two made a few edits and disappeared after a few days.

Mr Random360 and Yev11497 were given admin rights for their contributions to the wiki. Shortly after doing so, Riko Ryuichi also became inactive. The remaining admins continued adding content to the wiki until Yev11497 left around December 2013, and Mr Random360 on February 2014. At this point, the wiki no longer had any active admins monitoring the wiki. The first season of Strike the Blood finished airing about a month later.

Some users have since joined the wiki and added more content, but the lack of admins made organization difficult. Then, on August 2014, TheNoraShinki joined with plans to adopt the wiki, and was soon granted administrator and bureaucrat rights. X.F.r.o.z.e.n.x was promoted to admin a few weeks later, and the rights of inactive admins were removed. A two-episode OVA was released between November-December 2015, renewing interest in the series. This led to more visitors to the wiki and, subsequently, more editors.

From there, the two admins and some active users helped with adding content, updating articles and much more. Unfortunately, TheNoraShinki stopped editing after May 2016. On November 23, 2016, the first volume of Strike the Blood II released, renewing interest in the series again. X.F.r.o.z.e.n.x left a year later on July 2017, a few months after StB II has ended. Once more, the wiki is left at the mercy of its editors.

BrainDeadZero joined the wiki on February 2018. After a few months, he announced his plans to adopt the wiki, and became the new administrator. BrainDeadZero and his bot account, BDZBot, gave much needed updates to the wiki. He eventually established Project:Guidelines on December 2018, the first forms of policies on the wiki. This was done days before Strike the Blood III was released.
