General[]

Use English

  • This is an English wiki intended for a primarily English speaking audience. All edits must be done in English.
  • Any national variety of English (e.g. American English or British English) can be used.
    • It should be noted that official translations of the series are provided by American companies, and a large portion of the wiki audience are from the US.
  • If applicable, consider directing non-English users to edit on the following Strike the Blood wikis instead:

Assume good faith

  • Unless there is clear evidence to suggest otherwise, assume that people who work on the project are trying to help it, not hurt it.
  • Criticism is allowed, but avoid accusing others of harmful motives.

Respect your fellow editors

  • Rudeness or insensitivity, whether intentional or not, can distract from and interfere with an editor's work.
  • Try to always be courteous and understanding when discussing something.

Do not use inappropriate language

  • Any form of profanity, swearing, racism or harsh language is not allowed on this wiki.
  • Such edits or comments will be removed, and a warning may be given.

Files[]

Only upload files related to Strike the Blood

Official images only

  • Only official images are allowed on this wiki. Official sources include light novel illustrations, manga, anime and promotional art.
  • Fan art is not allowed, and will be deleted.

Name and license files appropriately

  • It is recommended that files are named appropriately. For example, file names like "Kojou vs Yukina.jpg" are preferred, as opposed to random gibberish like "123abc71g23x6.jpg".
  • Files should have an appropriate license template. In most cases, {{Fairuse}} is used, although other licenses might be more suitable.

Use high quality images

  • For anime screenshots, it is preferred to use the Blu-rays as it is higher quality than the TV/DVD versions. We recommend a resolution of 1920x1080 for screenshots, and 1280x720 as a minimum.
  • Watermarks should be avoided. These are especially prominent if the screenshot was taken from unofficial/pirated sites, which tend to include their site name as a watermark.
  • It is advised to use screenshots with no subtitles/captions.

Keep it Safe For Work (SFW)

  • The series is known for its ecchi moments, including suggestive content and nudity. However, such images should not be uploaded, as they violate Fandom's Terms of Use.

Infractions[]

Users that have been found to have broken these rules will normally receive a warning issued onto their Message Wall for breaking the rules. In some instances, a user will be immediately blocked depending on the severity of the rule they have broken. Blocks will be placed for users who are found to have ignored warnings issued to them, or users that are otherwise being disruptive and problematic to the site and its users. If a user returns from a block and they are found to be violating any of the rules written here again, there will be zero tolerance over their actions.
